Matthew 1 - Imposter Syndrome to Inspiration

Thursday, July 18, 2024

Today's an exciting day as I launch the first of the podcast episodes.  These will be released as traditional podcasts on regular podcast platforms shortly but, in the meantime, and on an ongoing basis, they will also be released as video podcasts on YouTube so you can watch or listen on your preferred platform.  (Estimated launch date for podcast platforms is August 29th).

We're kicking things off with a series in Matthew, starting in chapter 1.

We'll look at how your history, no matter how challenging or negative, can be transformed into a powerful asset for both your business and family life.  If you struggle with imposter syndrome, then this should be a real encouragement to you.

We'll also look at the importance of balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood, and turning obstacles into opportunities.

While reading genealogies and looking at the birth of Jesus is not typically what we think of when it comes to passages on family, relationships, and entrepreneurship, I believe you'll be encouraged, and challenged by just how much you can apply to your life in a practical way.

We talk about...

  • (0:37): Read through Matthew 1
  • (3:37): We discover that our histories, no matter how negative, can be used by God if we let Him.
  • (6:27): We recognise the impact of our responses to the situations we encounter.
  • (9:17): We consider the privilege we have in the sacrifices we make.
  • (13:23): We determine how we can apply these things in a practical way in our lives.
